March Athlete of the Month
Junaid has been running on and off for a while but says that it is only when joining MLH late last year that he began to approach it with any consistency. @iamjunaid_isaacs credits his inspiration to his autistic foster son – who he dedicates all his races too. He sees running as a way that he can bring awareness to autism.
Q: Who’s your running hero?
A: My running hero at MLH is non other than Sedick De Bruyn. He has always been giving me the best of advice & running tips.
Q: What’s your favourite race distance?
A: I'm quite new to the racing scene. Every race i enter would be a 1st attempt for me. However my favorite race distance I did thus far was my 21km debut at Cape Peninsula earlier this year.
Way to go Junaid!
